i want the plot of the next reboot movie to just be them dealing with the horror of an undead tribble. it gives birth to more tribbles. they all have inherited khan’s super blood. there are hundred of tribbles and they are all invincible and unstoppable.
if there’s going to be a meme from parks and rec i highly recommend this quote it is never not funny
omg please just post text descriptions until you get it fixed because just the idea of spock saying “the calzones betrayed me?” is cracking me the fuck up
image of spock looking into the chamber where kirk is dying with a single tear sliding down his cheek. the text reads: “the calzones…betrayed me?”
photoset: all pictures are from the first movie. same scene. pike is addressing kirk in the bar during their first meeting. text reads: “Hey, what are you doing tonight?” next image is kirk smiling text reads: “don’t you mean…who am i doing tonight?” next image is a more serious kirk text reads: “no one. i’m free. what’s up?”
every time i go to upload a picture my laptop crashes. every time. ive run so many fucking virus checks and stuff and it keeps happening. literally all i am trying to do is upload a crappy picture of spock going “the calzones…betrayed me?” for the past week
anway that’s part of the reason this blog is dead
also because you guys dont submit anything
it’s the best day of the year.

petition to resurrect gene roddenberry to direct the next star trek movie and rescue the reboot
"average starfleet officer breaks the prime directive twice a month" factoid actualy a statistical error. average starfleet officer breaks prime directive 0 times a month. jim kirk, who captains the enterprise & breaks the prime directive 10,000 times each month, is an outlier adn should not have been counted.
star trek has ruined me. i was looking up lyrics and thought ‘ah yes. t’pain, the vulcan’
sometimes i’m struck with the realization that as a member of the star trek fandom i’m participating in a tradition that is more than twice as old as i am, and that for nearly fifty years people have touted the same beliefs i hold close to my heart now, from the incredible gayness of two dumb starfleet officers to the ability for peace and equality to spread across the stars. people have been writing and fighting for these things for decades, and i’m part of that. that is amazing.
